WWE 2K22 Named As Big Contributor To Take Two Interactive’s One Billion Dollar Fiscal Quarter

On August 8, 2022, Take-Two Interactive reported their results for the first fiscal quarter of 2023. This time period ran from March 30, 2022 to June 30, 2022. According to the release that the company put out, Take-Two recorded a bunch of positive financial results for the quarter.

WWE 2K22, which was released on March 8, 2022, was named a big contributor to Take Two’s 41% increase in Net Bookings. Net Bookings are defined as the net amount of products and services sold digitally or sold-in physically during the period, and includes licensing fees, merchandise, in-game advertising, strategy guides and publisher incentives.

Take Two’s Net Bookings for first Fiscal Quarter of 2023 were up to $1.0 billion, as opposed to $711.4 million during the previous year’s first Fiscal Quarter.

The majority of WWE 2K22 reviews have been positive in the four month period the game has been out.
