BUSSY’s run as the GCW Tag Team Champions has come to an end.
At The People vs. GCW on July 29, Allie Katch and EFFY defended the titles against Los Macizos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo) and The Second Gear Crew (Mance Warner & Matthew Justice). At the end of the brutal battle, which featured the usage of several weapons, Los Macizos pinned EFFY to win the bout. In doing so, they ended BUSSY’s first reign with the gold.

With the win, Los Macizos won the titles for a second time. They previously won the gold in 2018 and held it for 1,162 days before G-Raver and Jimmy Lloyd dethroned them at GCW vs. Zona 23 on July 18, 2021. The duo returned to GCW at GCW Cage of Survival on June 5; there, they defeated Rina Yamashita & Toru Sugiura. They have also beaten The South Pacific Savages and Nick Wayne & Jordan Oliver in tag team action in recent weeks.
EFFY and Katch won the titles by defeating The Briscoes at GCW Paranoid on April 9. They had successfully defended the championships ten times.
