Report: ROH Death Before Dishonor Did Around 36,000 Buys

An update on the ROH Death Before Dishonor buyrate.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, ROH Death Before Dishonor did “about” 36,100 buys on pay-per-view with 27,000 coming from digital and 9,100 from television.

Tony Khan mentioned in the post-show media scrum that the show was “rapidly approaching” 25,000 digital buys, noting it was an early estimate as the show had just ended. He updated the number to 27,000 digital buys on Wednesday’s appearance on Busted Open Radio.

ROH Supercard of Honor, which was the first show ran by Khan following his purchase of the promotion in March, reportedly did around 20,000 total buys.

ROH Death Before Dishonor was heavily promoted on AEW TV with matches being set up on Dynamite and Rampage. The show was headlined by FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) defending the ROH Tag Team Championships against The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) in a two-out-of-three falls bout.
