Marina Rodriguez vs. Amanda Lemos Booked For UFC 280 In October
UFC strawweight contenders Marina Rodriguez and Amanda Lemos are scheduled to meet at UFC 280 on October 22 in Abu Dhabi.
Combate’s Raphael Marinho was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works, with ESPN’s Marc Raimondi providing additional confirmation of the booking. Rodriguez is currently on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off of a split-decision win over Yan Xiaonan back at UFC 272. Lemos meanwhile is 4-1 in her last five Octagon outings and will look to build on a second-round submission victory over Michelle Waterson at UFC on ABC 3.
