Chris Jericho Bleeds, But Bests Eddie Kingston In Barbed Wire Everywhere Bout
The rivalry between Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho is closed for now.
Chris Jericho bested Eddie Kingston in a barbed wire everywhere match on AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest week two. The finish saw Sammy Guevara save Jericho from the stretch plum with barbed wire and then toss Kingston into a Judas Effect.
After the bout, Kingston got a measure of revenge by tossing Jericho into a barbed wire spider web.
During the match, the Jericho Appreciation Society were locked in a shark cage above the ring. However, Tay Conti attacked Ruby Soho, who had the key to the shark cage. Anna Jay ran down to ringside, but sided with Conti, allowing the Jericho Appreciation Society to escape.
They were cut off by the Blackpool Combat Club, but Guevara was unaccounted for.

Jericho and Kingston have been feuding for the better part of 2022 with Kingston aligning with Santana & Ortiz, who were part of The Inner Circle with Jericho to begin the year. Jericho and Kingston faced at AEW Revolution with Kingston picking up the victory. Jericho would swerve Kingston, Santana & Ortiz after his loss, forming the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Kingston looked to have the final laugh at Blood & Guts, but Matt Menard tapped out to Claudio Castagnoli before Jericho tapped to Kingston, further angering Eddie and setting up the Barbed Wire Everywhere match.
Shark week.
