Liv Morgan: I’m Going To Beat Ronda Rousey Because I Love It And Want It More

Liv Morgan captured gold at WWE Money in the Bank when she cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase, which she won earlier in the night, on Ronda Rousey to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Morgan will defend her championship in a rematch against Rousey at WWE SummerSlam.

Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Morgan explained why she will be victorious at WWE SummerSlam.

“There are so many things that I think about. One, I know I’m walking into my championship match as the underdog. I know that people think that I’m only champion because I cashed in on a less than 100% Ronda Rousey. I feel like I’m walking into this match as the underdog and people are doubting ‘can I pull through with a Ronda Rousey that is 100%?’ I have sat with this and thought about it. Do you know why I’m gonna (win)? One, I love it more than her and I want it more than her. Also, working at Hooters, there were UFC nights where I’m serving wings and I’m watching Ronda Rousey dominate in the UFC, and I’m serving wings. I’m watching her kill it. I didn’t grow up wanting to be a Mixed Martial Artist or wanting to be UFC Champion or an Olympic athlete. I grew up wanting to be a WWE Champion and I am a WWE Superstar through and through, that lives and breathes and dies for this business. That’s why I’m going to survive Ronda Rousey and defend my championship,” she stated.

Before Liv faces Rousey at WWE SummerSlam, she will take on Natalya on WWE SmackDown.
