Raw Tag Team Superstar Suffers Broken Jaw, Out For Several Months
Just when NXT's "Top Guys" got up to the main roster, it looks like one of them is going to be "out." For a very long time.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Dash Wilder, one half of two-time NXT tag champs The Revival, has suffered a broken jaw over the weekend and will be out for several months, maybe even until mid to late summer.
PWS does not say when the injury occurred, but the last time he faced in-ring competition was on Friday when The Revival faced fellow main-roster call-up Shinsuke Nakamura and Hideo Itami.
The Revial, Nakamura and Tye Dillinger were all doing their goodbye tour on the NXT brand, performing shows in Atlanta GA, Spartanburg SC, and Concord NC.
With his tag partner out, it remains to be seen what the creative plans for Scott Dawson might be on Raw, but we could find out tonight. The duo had been involved in a two match program with The New Day storyline-injuring Kofi Kingston and sending the "World-Famous Two Time Champs" packing to SmackDown Live last week.
