New Heritage Cup Champion Crowned On 7/14 NXT UK

A championship has changed hands in NXT UK.

On the July 14 episode of NXT UK, Mark Coffey challenged Noam Dar for the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship. Despite having vocal support from Sha Samuels in backstage segments throughout the match, Noam Dar would go on to lose the title to Mark Coffey 2-1 in Round Three of the Heritage Cup Rules match.

In an emotional response, Samuels ran out to the stage and cried on the stage while Coffey celebrated his victory with the NXT UK crowd.

Although he has challenged for the belt multiple times in the past, this marks Coffey’s first reign with the Heritage Cup Championship.

After the bout, the NXT UK locker room emptied out to celebrate Coffey’s historic win.

Nina Samuels attempted to interview Noam Dar after his loss, but the ‘Scottish Supernova’ wasn’t quite in the mood for interviews.
