Spoiler: Former NXT Star Debuts, Talent Returns, Winner Crowned In MLW Battle Riot IV
MLW held its annual Battle Riot event on June 23 from the Melrose Ballroom in New York City.
The event was headlined by the Battle Riot match, which is a Royal Rumble style match where anything goes and eliminations occur via over the top rope, pinfall, or submission. The winner gets a shot at the MLW World Championship.
According to PWInsider, Jacob Fatu won Battle Riot IV by last eliminating nZo (Enzo Amore). Killer Kross and a returning Sami Callihan were part of the final four.
Fatu lost the MLW World Heavyweight Championship to Alex Hammerstone, who won Battle Riot III, at MLW Fightland in 2021. Hammerstone is still the reigning champion.
The bout featured the MLW debut of Parker Boudreaux (Harland in MLW), who entered at #40.
