KUSHIDA And KENTA Return Bouts, Dog Cage Match, More Set For NJPW New Japan Road Events
Big matches are set for upcoming New Japan Road events.
NJPW announced that KUSHIDA and KENTA will be back in action on July 3. KUSHIDA will team with Hiroshi Tanahashi & Alex Zayne to take on KENTA, Taiji Ishimori & Gedo. This will mark KUSHIDA’s first NJPW bout since he left the company for WWE in February 2019. It will be KENTA’s first bout since Wrestle Kingdom 16.
On July 4, KUSHIDA will team with Tanahashi to face Ishimori & KENTA in tag team action.
The July 5 New Japan Road event will be headlined by a NEVER Six-Man Tag Team Championship bout as HOUSE OF TORTURE (SHO, EVIL, & Yujiro Takahashi) defend the titles against the CHAOS trio of YOH, YOSHI-HASHI, & Hirooki Goto.
The co-main event pits Toru Yano against Dick Togo in a Dog Cage match.
