NJPW Representative Set For AEW All-Atlantic Title Bout At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
NJPW has their man.
Tomohiro Ishii will represent NJPW in the All-Atlantic Title four-way at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Ishii defeated Clark Connors with a vertical drop brainbuster to advance to the four-way bout at the June 21 New Japan Road event.
Ishii and Connor were victorious on the June 20 New Japan Road event in their respective first round matches with Ishii besting Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Connors getting past Tomoaki Honma.
Pac and Miro have already qualified with Pac defeating Buddy Matthews and Miro defeating Ethan Page. Malakai Black and Penta Oscuro will meet on the June 22 episode of AEW Dynamite to determine the final man in the four-way bout.
