New IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Crowned At NJPW Dominion
His era once again.
Jay White became the new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion at NJPW Dominion, defeating Kazuchika Okada in the main event.
White countered the Rainmaker with the Blade Runner and that was all she wrote for Okada as White pinned him for three.

After the bout, White sent a message to Hangman Page, who said he can face Okada if he wants him, because he’s not getting the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. Hangman called out Okada for a match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, saying he wanted the IWGP World Heavyweight Title.
White has made multiple appearances on AEW television and is 1-0 in AEW.
This marks the first reign as IWGP World Heavyweight Champion for White. He is a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Okada won the title NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 from Shingo Takagi. His reign lasted 159 days. He made four successful title defenses against Will Ospreay, Tetsuya Naito (twice), and Zack Sabre Jr.
