NWA World Tag Team Titles Change Hands At NWA Alwayz Ready
La Rebelión have been ousted from atop the NWA Tag Team Division.
On June 11 at NWA Alwayz Ready, La Rebelión (Mecha Wolf 450 and Bestia 666) put the titles on the line against the Commonwealth Connection of Harry Smith and Doug Williams. The challengers earned this shot by being the only team that has defeated La Rebelión since they arrived in NWA. Smith and Williams defeated the champions at NWA Crockett Cup before the tournament was ultimately won by The Briscoes.
At the event, Smith and Williams would pick up the victory to become the new NWA World Tag Team Champions. They end La Rebelión’s reign with the belts at 286 days, having won them last August at the NWA 73rd Anniversary Show.

This is Williams’ first title win in the NWA. Smith previously held this title for a full year from October 2014 to October 2015 with Lance Archer.
