Glover Teixeira (C) vs. (#2) Jiri Prochazka — UFC Light Heavyweight Championship
Round One – Glover starts with a high kick. Jiri comes back with a low kick but the champion returns fire with a side kick to the body. Jiri pops the jab and lands a calf kick. Glover goes for the takedown, Jiri keeps his balance for a moment but Glover drags him down to the mat. Glover lands some shots to the body, Jiri lands an elbow, Glover reigns down some ground and pound and a slicing elbow. Jiri scrambles and gets to a knee but Glover gets back control and looks for the rear-naked choke. Jiri falls backwards and goes back down to the mat and Glover ends up in side control, then north-south and back to side control but on the opposite side. Glover goes back to north-south, Jiri scrambles, Glover grabs the neck but Jiri escapes and circles back to the center of the octagon. Glover goes for a single-leg but Jiri shoves him back and lands a 1-2. Glover catches a front kick from Jiri and tosses him to the mat and ends up mounted. Glover unloads ground and pound and teases a head and arm choke but decides to separate and lands a few more shots. Jiri rolls to his stomach, Glover gets the back, Jiri stands up but Glover is still on the back. Jiri rolls Glover over his head, Glover looks for an armbar but Jiri finally breaks free. Glover ends upp on his back, Jiri jumps down and fires off a bevy of shots and hurts the champion but the buzzer sounds to end a wild opening frame.
Round Two – Glover accidentally pokes Jiri’s right eye as soon as the round begins, the fight is briefly paused but quickly started right back up and the second round is officially underway. Jiri cracks Glover with a teep kick then lands a knee to the body on the champion. Glover whiffs on a 1-2 but lands a front kick to the body of the challenger. Jiri cracks Glover with a 1-2, Glover grabs a leg but Jiri wallops him with a knee then another 1-2 and the champion is down. Jiri lands some ground and pound, Glover goes for the takedown, Jiri lets Glover back up and cracks him with an uppercut. Jiri’s teeing off on Glover, who goes for the takedown but Jiri shoves him back and continues the barrage. Glover goes for another takedown but Jiri stymies the attempt from the champion. Jiri lands a step-in elbow, then a side elbow to the face and follows it up with a 1-2. Jiri lands a flurry but slips and Glover takes the back, Jiri turns to his back and Glover clocks him with a bevy of shots and ends up in side control. Glover seems content to finish this round in side control but pops off a few elbows, separates and starts unloading on the challenger and Jiri is busted open under his left eye as the horn sounds and this one is headed to round number three.
Round Three – Jiri whiffs on a high kick to start. Jiri cracks Glover with a right hook and Glover goes for the takedown but Jiri shoves him to the mat and walks away to signify the champion to get back to his feet. Jiri goes for a flying knee, Glover evades but eats a pair of jabs from the challenger. Glover lands a low kick, Jiri returns fire with one of his own, Glover lands a straight right, Jiri lands a straight left and Glover goes for the takedown but Jiri shoves him aside. Jiri starts teeing off on Glover, who goes for another takedown but Jiri shoves him aside and makes him get back to his feet. Jiri lands a 1-2, then a flying knee but Glover trips Jiri and falls on top of him and ends up in side control. Jiri scrambles and gives up his back but he’s able to get back to his feet and shoves Glover to the fence inside the clinch. Jiri lands an elbow and an uppercut on the break, then a 1-2, then rips a right hook to the body and Glover goes for another takedown but Jiri keeps his balance and separates. Jiri cracks Glover with an up-elbow, Glover dives for a takedown, Jiri unloads from the top and ends up in top control. Jiri opens up a cut on Glover’s nose and now both competitors are busted open. Jiri lands an elbow, then a left hand and teases a head and arm choke but Glover rolls him back and ends up on top. Jiri lands elbows from the bottom, Glover lands some of his own and the buzzer sounds to send this one to championship rounds.
Round Four – Glover lands a 1-2 to start. Glover rips a straight right to the body, Jiri fires back with a 1-2 then a front kick to the body followed by an uppercut. Jiri pepers Glover with a jab and Glover goes for the takedown and scoops and slams Jiri to the mat and ends up in side control. Jiri rolls to his stomach, Glover gets the back and reigns down some ground and pound but Jiri immediately rolls to his back. Glover locks-in an arm triangle, Jiri gives the thumbs up to referee, Marc Goddard and Glover loosens the hold to land a left hand. Glover locks it right back up, Jiri gives another thumbs up and rolls right out and sweeps to top control! What counter by the challenger! Jiri steps up and drills Glover with ground and pound, jumps to side control and cracks Glover with an elbow. Glover returns the favor and sweeps Jiri and now has the challenger’s back. Jiri rolls, Glover looks for the body triangle but Jiri rolls out and ends up back in top control. Jiri lands an elbow then stands up lands a left hand. Jiri continues the ground and pound and the horn sounds that’ll send this one to the fifth and final round.
Round Five – This one is somehow in the final frame and after a touch of the gloves, the fifth and final round is underway. Glover cracks Jiri with a 1-2 then stuns him with a massive right hand and Jiri is dropped to a knee, Glover goes for the standing guillotine but Jiri shoves Glover back to the mat and ends up in top control! Jiri separates and makes the fight go back to the feet. Glover misses an overhand right but lands a 1-2 as Jiri just misses an uppercut. Glover cracks Jiri with a left hook then goes for the takedown but Jiri backs up to the fence and avoids going to the mat, at least for the time-being. Glover trips Jiri but the challenger gets right back to the feet and breaks free. Glover lands a right hook then 1-2 then another right hook and goes for another takedown and gets it! Jiri gets back to the knee but Glover trips him back to the mat. Glover gets Jiri’s back down to the mat and lands some ground and pound, Jiri rolls to his stomach but rolls right back to his back. Jiri kicks himself off the fence and ends up with back control on the champion. Jiri lands some ground and pound, Glover rolls to his back and Jiri ends up in side control and looks for the crucifix but ends up taking Glover’s back. Jiri looks for the rear-naked choke and Glover taps! New champion!

Valentina Shevchenko (C) vs. (#4) Taila Santos — UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship
Round One – Shevchenko misses a Superman punch to start. The champion lands a right hook and Santos settles in with a low kick. Shevchenko lands a lightning quick jab then follows it up with a 1-2 then just misses a spinning back kick. Santos goes for a 1-2 and misses then locks up the clinch and Shevchenko switches momentum and has Santos locked up against the fence. Santos explodes and trips Shevchenko to the mat and gets the back. Santos looks for the neck crank, Shevchenko defends and Santos gets the body triangle locked up. Shevchenko fights the hands, Santos keeps readjusting and switches between the neck crank and the rear-naked choke. Shevchenko lands a few back punches over her own head, Santos continues to looks for the neck, Shevchenko cracks Santos with a bevy of punches over her head, Santos gets the neck but the buzzer sounds to end an eventful opening frame.
Round Two – Shevchenko just misses a spinning back kick but lands a kick to Santos’ lead leg to start round number two. Shevchenko initiates the clinch but Santos spins and gets the champion against the cage. Santos lands some knees to Shevchenko’s thighs and looks for the trip and gets it. Santos settles in on top, Shevchenko scrambles but Santos readjusts and gets top control back. Santos creates some separation, Shevchenko locks up the gogoplata out of nowhere but Santos calmly escapes and continues with control. Referee, Jason Herzog calls for the fight to get back on the feet after not much happened and the fight continues with a minute to go in the round. Shevchenko wraps around Santos and tosses Santos to the mat but Santos slides and ends up in top control. What a scramble by the challenger. Santos rides out the final half-minute on top and the round comes to a close.
Round Three – Santos forgot her mouthpiece and the fight is briefly stopped but is quickly resumed. The champion opens with a front kick to the body, Santos returns fire with a low kick then a kick to the body of her own. Shevchenko lands an overhand left, Santos lands another low kick but the champion partially lands a spinning back kick to the body. Shevchenko with a 1-2 then a low kick, Santos lands a right hook but Shevchenko responds with another low kick. Shevchenko trips Santos to the mat but Santos gets right back to her feet and circles back to the center of the octagon. Shevchenko lands a low kick, Santos clinches and gets the champion against the fence. Santos trips Shevchenko to the mat and immediately jumps on the back. Santos gets the body triangle and looks for the neck crank as Shevchenko fights the hands. Shevchenko loosens the hold, Santos readjusts and has the body triangle tightened and Shevchenko fires off punches over her head and repeatedly cracks Santos, who also lands a few shots as the horn sounds and the round ends.
Round Four – Both competitors fire off combinations to start. Santos with a kick to the body and Santos’ right eye is starting to close. Santos lands a right uppercut and Shevchenko lands a kick below the belt and the fight is briefly paused. We see a replay and Shevchenko and Santos had a clash of heads in round two that caused the swelling of Santos’ right eye. The fight is resumed and Shevchenko lands a kick to the body. Shevchenko lands a combination then a thunderous kick to the body. Santos clinches, Shevchenko shoves her aside and lands a 1-2. Santos lands a low kick, then another then a calf kick. Shevchenko whiffs on a front kick, Santos lands another low kick, Shevchenko misses a 1-2 but partially lands a head kick. Santos has a front kick to the body blocked, Shevchenko comes back with another 1-2 and Santos lands a leg kick. Shevchenko fires off and lands a right hook, Santos rips a 1-2 to the body then a low kick. The champion lands a kick to Santos’ lead leg then a 1-2 up top then a knee to the body. Santos ducks under a 1-2 and lands a perfectly-timed takedown. Santos lands an elbow on the ground and the horn sounds to send this one to the fifth and final round.
Round Five – The doctor briefly checks on Santos’ swollen right eye before the round begins but he gives the OK and the fifth and final round is officially underway. Shevchenko goes for but misses a 1-2 but drills Santos with a straight left as the challenger just misses an overhand right. Shevchenko lands a 1-2 but Santos trips her to the mat. Shevchenko goes for a head and arm choke but Santos escapes and ends up in side control. Santos pushes Shevchenko to the cage and gets the back but Shevchenko slides her over her head and gets back to the feet. Shevchenko fires off a 1-2, Santos comes back with a front kick to the body and the champion lands a pair of leg kicks. Shevchenko goes for and gets the takedown and tries to get to side control. Shevchenko looks for the crucifix but Santos defends well and gets to half guard. Shevchenko lands a shoulder to the head, Santos scrambles but Shevchenko holds firm for the time-being. Shevchenko lands some shots to the body, Santos lands some elbows to Shevchenko’s mid-section and Santos rolls but Shevchenko gets side control with 30-seconds to go in the fight. Shevchenko lands a few shots of ground and pound and the buzzer sounds and this one is headed to the judge’s scorecards.

(#2) Zhang Weili vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk
Round One – Weili with a low kick to start. Joanna lands a low kick of her own but Weili counters with an overhand right that lands. Joanna with a 1-2 then a low kick and then another low kick drops Weili but Weili looks to be OK. Joanna with another 1-2, Weili rips a kick to the body then lands a right hand and goes for a takedown and gets it. Weili immediately starts unloading ground and pound, Joanna scrambles and gets back to her feet but Weili clinches her against the fence. Weili trips Joanna back to the mat and gets back control. Weili fires off a bunch of right hands, Joanna stays composed and rolls to her back and Weili continues the ground and pound. Joanna scrambles to her feet, lands a knee to the body and trips Weili to the mat this time but Weili ends up on top. Weili separates and comes back down with a thunderous right hand, Joanna tries to scramble Weili lands slicing elbows, Joanna continues to scramble but Weili’s doing a good job of controlling. Weili separates and rips elbow after elbow. Joanna finally gets to her feet and back to the center of the octagon. Joanna lands a right hook, Weili with a front kick, Joanna rips a combination, Joanna with a kick to the body and Weili trips her to the mat at the buzzer and that ends a wild opening round.
Round Two – Kicks galore open the frame. Joanna cracks Weili with a 1-2 then another low kick and then another. Joanna lands another combination, Weili comes back with a side kick to the body then initiates the clinch and gets Joanna against the fence. Weili goes for the throw but Joanna slips away and lands a right hook on the break. Joanna lands a 1-2 but Weili fires off a spinning back fist out of nowhere and Joanna is out cold!

Andre Fialho vs. Jake Matthews
Round One – Matthews opens up with a pair of low kicks. Fialho looks for a left but whiffs and Matthews comes back with a right hook that stuns his opposition. Matthews has a head kick blocked but follows it up with a jab and a low kick that both land. Matthews nails Fialho with a straight left right down the pipe and Fialho comes back with a stabbing front kick to the body. Matthews continues to eat at the lead leg of Fialho but Fialho comes back with a right hook that hits it’s mark. Fialho drills Matthews with a 1-2 but he eats a 1-2 right back from Matthews, who then delivers a side kick to the body. Fialho with a low kick this time then just misses a kill shot of an overhand right. Absolute chaos ensues and both men decide to stop blocking and throwing fire, everything lands for both men and Fialho drops Matthews with a right hook but the buzzer sounds to save Matthews and it ends the opening frame.
Round Two – Matthews lands an uppercut then throws a heater of a left hook right behind it and Fialho it hurt. Fialho’s backed up to the cage, Matthews fires off a 1-2 that stuns Fialho again, then an overhand right lands for Matthews. Fialho clocks Matthews with a left hook then blocks a high kick from his opponent. Fialho with a 1-2 but Matthews fires back with a counter right hook, then another, then rips a right hook to the body and drops Fialho with a left hook and this one is over!

Jack Della Maddalena vs. Ramazan Emeev
Round One – Maddalena with a 1-2 to start. Maddalena cracks Emeev with a thunderous side kick to the body and Emeev’s left side is already bright red. Emeev rips a right hook to the body and lands a perfectly-timed takedown. Maddelan scrambles and gets back to his feet but Emeev trips him and has a d’arce locked up. Maddalena continues to scramble and he breaks the hold and this one is back to the feet. Maddalena cracks Emeev with a 1-2, then a big right hand and another 1-2, Emeev drops to the mat and covers up, Maddalena lands another follow up shot and this one is over!
