Matt Cardona vs. Blake Christian Set For GCW C.O.S On 6/5, Cardona Claims He Needs Surgery
Matt Cardona gets the chance to run it back with Blake Christian if he is medically cleared.
Recently, Matt Cardona suffered an injury while wrestling Blake Christian at GCW Downward Spiral. While commenting on the injury, Matt said he believes he tore his bicep but now, if he is medically cleared to compete, he will be in a number one contender match against Christian at this Sunday’s GCW event, COS.
However, in response to this, Cardona says that he was conferring with “Dr. Amann” and he says he needs surgery and cannot do the match.

Of course, Dr. Chris Amann was on the medical staff for WWE and ended up in a legal battle with CM Punk.
Cardona, as of now, is also scheduled to defend his NWA World Championship against Nick Aldis at Alwayz Ready on June 11. You can see the full card here.
