Another Name Advances To Semi-Finals Of Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament On 5/11 AEW Dynamite
The Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament has officially gotten underway!
In the main event of the Wednesday, May 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jeff Hardy faced Darby Allin in a quarterfinal match of the tournament. The winner of the match would face off against Adam Cole in the next round.
Earlier during Dynamite, Allin was heard asking for his match with Hardy to have no rules, a request which was granted. The bout itself saw numerous high-impact bumps including a Coffin Drop to a Hardy-less apron, and a Swanton Bomb onto Steel Steps. In the end, it was Jeff who emerged victoriously, pinning Allin by countering a Coffin Drop.
The two men embraced after the match as the Undisputed Elite watched on from the ramp.
