Big E Provides Update On Neck Injury
Big E has provided an update on his neck injury.
On the March 11 episode of WWE SmackDown, Big E suffered a neck injury when he landed awkwardly on the top of his head after taking a belly-to-belly suplex on the outside from Ridge Holland. It was later revealed that he suffered a broken neck with the former WWE Champion saying, “C1 and C6 are indeed fractured, non-displacement though, which is a good thing. I don’t have any damage to my spinal cord. No ligament damage and no surgery.”
In the latest update, Big E said his C1 “apparently isn’t healing optimally” and that he’ll spend another 4-6 weeks in a brace in hopes that he can avoid a fusion.
For those desirous of an update, my C1 apparently isn’t healing optimally. I’ll spend another 4-6 weeks in a brace in hopes that I can avoid a fusion. But don’t you fret! I’ve got a tremendous support system & what shall be shall be.
