Bron Breakker Retains NXT Title Wearing Rick Steiner’s Singlet From An Early Episode Of WWE Raw
Bron Breakker paid tribute to his father at NXT Spring Breakin’.
In the main event of the May 3 episode of NXT 2.0, Bron Breakker defended the NXT Championship against Joe Gacy. The feud between the two men started early last month when Gacy kidnapped Breakker’s father, Rick Steiner, and stole his Hall of Fame ring. Two weeks later, Gacy would trade the ring back to Bron for an opportunity at his title.
Breakker came out tonight wearing the singlet worn by Rick Steiner on an early episode of WWE Raw. Commentary announced it as the same one worn on the debut episode of Raw, but alas that is not the case.
Nevertheless, Breakker was able to hold off a very aggressive Gacy, hitting a spear to retain the championship. As he celebrated, however, masked figures appeared behind him. Before he could notice them, though, the show went off the air.
