Sammy Guevara And Tay Conti Capture AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship At Triplemania XXX: Monterrey

On Saturday, April 30, AAA presented Triplemania XXX: Monterrey. One of the featured bouts on the card saw Los Vipers (Arez and Chik Tormenta) defend the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Titles against the teams of Sammy Guevara & Tay Conti, Sexy Star & Octagon Jr., and Maravilla & Latigo.
Prior to the bout, Sammy was seen walking with a crutch and revealed that he wouldn’t be wrestling. Instead, Parka Negra would be taking his spot in the bout. He then told a concerned Tay Conti that he had a plan and everything was under control.
Unsurprisingly, towards the end of the match, Guevara entered the ring and started taking out all of the other wrestlers with his crutch. He then told Parka Negra to leave, signaling that he had paid off. He and Tay proceeded with a double pin to score the win and capture the belts. When the referee refused to raise their hands in victory, Sammy motioned as if money would be coming his way as well, at which point their hands were raised.
