The Briscoes Withdraw From GCW And PWG Events Due To Medical Emergency
Mark and Jay Briscoe have pulled out of this weekend’s GCW and PWG shows.
The brothers were supposed to challenge Bussy (Allie Katch & Effy) for the GCW Tag Titles at GCW In Too Deep on April 30 and then face Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) at PWG Delivering The Goods on May 1. Unfortunately, due to a medical emergency involving Mark’s wife, they will not be able to attend either event.
“Mark’s wife was rushed by ambulance to Christiana Hospital early this morning with complications associated with her pregnancy.
At the moment, mother and baby are stable as doctors are working to avoid a premature birth.
We apologize to the fans of GCW and PWG as we will not be able to make the shows this weekend.
Thank you for your understanding,” Jay Briscoe wrote.

The Briscoe Brothers most recently appeared on the April 28 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, where they became number one contenders for the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles. They will challenge Violent By Design at Under Siege on May 7.
