New Day, Sasha Banks, And More Set For Action On 5/6 WWE SmackDown
Two matches have been made official for the May 6 episode of WWE SmackDown.
First, one week before Sasha Banks and Naomi defend their Tag Team Titles against Shayna Baszler and Natalya on May 13, Banks will take on Baszler in singles competition. Naomi defeated Shayna on April 29, but the Champions were attacked by their challengers after the bell, with Shayna stomping on Naomi’s arm.
Additionally, Sheamus and Ridge Holland will face Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston in a Tables Match. Two two sides have been feuding for a number of weeks, though the New Day have held the upper hand in terms of victories. On April 29, Woods defeated Ridge Holland, but Sheamus earned his team a win by beating Kingston immediately afterward.
