Jonathan Gresham Unable To Compete At IMPACT Rebellion, Replaced By Chris Bey

ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will no longer be competing at IMPACT Rebellion.

The promotion has announced that the scheduled match between Gresham and Eddie Edwards has been called off as Gresham is unable to compete. As a result, Chris Bey will now face Edwards on the pre-show and the X-Division Championship Match will move to the main card.

Per IMPACT:

ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham is unable to compete in his scheduled matchup with Eddie Edwards tonight at Rebellion. Eddie Edwards will now face Chris Bey on Countdown to Rebellion, streaming LIVE and FREE at 7:30pm ET on IMPACT Plus and YouTube.

The X-Division Championship match between Trey Miguel, Mike Bailey and Ace Austin will now take place on the pay-per-view portion of Rebellion, beginning at 8pm ET.

Gresham recently revealed that he was not medically cleared, forcing him to miss a pair of PROGRESS events. Fightful Select reported Gresham was checked for a concussion following his match against Dalton Castle at AEW Battle of the Belts II on Saturday, April 16.
