Live Coverage

The show begins and our commentary team of Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt welcome us to tonight’s show and we’re set for our opening contest of the evening.

Violent By Design (Eric Young & Deaner) (with Joe Doering) vs. Decay (Black Taurus & Crazzy Steve)

 Taurus and Deaner start this one off. Taurus gets control early, tosses Deaner to the corner and unloads a bevy of shots. Young interrupts and drops Taurus from behind and Deaner gains control, puts Taurus in a tree of woe and makes the tag to Young, VBD double-team Taurus and Young makes the tag back to Deaner, who goes for the cover but Taurus kicks out. Deaner works over Taurus with a head-lock and slam then makes the tag to Young, who plants Taurus with a neck-breaker and then a cover but Taurus lifts the shoulders after a count of two. Young goes to the middle rope and goes for a leg drop but Taurus slides out of the way. Taurus scoots to his corner and makes the tag to Steve, who clears house. Steve knocks Deaner back with a leg-drag and then bites Deaner’s forehead. Steve slams Deaner in the corner and goes for the cover but Young makes the save. Taurus shoves Young to the corner but Young evades a running knee and Taurus goes spilling to the outside where Doering drills him with a clothesline. The referee checks on Taurus and Young uses the distraction to clock Steve with the VBD flag pole and Deaner plants Steve with a DDT for the three-count!

Winners – Violent By Design

 We then see a video package highlighting the feud between IMPACT World Champion Moose and his challenger for Rebellion Josh Alexander.

A video is then shown announcing Under Siege will take place on Saturday, May 7th on IMPACT Plus before we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Rosemary and Havok are checking on Taurus and Steve. IMPACT Knockouts Champion Tasha Steelz comes out of nowhere and attacks Rosemary, Savannah Evans pops up and takes out Havok and Steelz and Evans escape before any retaliation can occur.

IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion Matt Cardona and Brian Myers come down to the ring alongside Chelsea Green. Cardona says it’s no shock that he’s in an ECW arena because he’s the true death match king. Cardona says that he helped Myers because he wanted to re-form his old tag team. Myers says he and Cardona put their issues to the side because they’re both their best selves at the present moment. Green says that they were all champions and all that people could talk about and now, they’re the strongest unit in professional wrestling. Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke come down to the ring and Cardona calls them fellow ECW originals and Guido says his career started right here in the 2300 Arena and tells Cardona not to disrespect this building or the original ECW. Cardona calls them irrelevant, Guido says Cardona and Myers aren’t The Major Players, they’re the major sissy’s and challenges Cardona to a Digital Media Championship match, tonight! Cardona accepts and we head to a commercial break.

Matt Cardona (C) (Brian Myers & Chelsea Green) vs. Little Guido (Tony Marmaluke) — IMPACT Digital Media Championship

 Cardona goes for a handshake but tries to kick Guido when he extends his hand but Guido catches it and rolls Cardona up for a two-count. Guido slaps Cardona in the back of the head and plants Cardona with a fireman’s carry. Green slaps Marmaluke at ringside, Cardona goes to take him out but Marmaluke slides away and Cardona goes crashing into Green. Guido tosses Cardona back into the ring, Cardona slides right back out and drills Guido into the barricade with a boot. Cardona tosses Guido back into the ring and tosses him to the middle rope and chokes Guido with his shirt and drills him in the corner with The Reboot. Cardona makes the cover but Guido kicks out. Cardona goes for forearm but Guido dives out of the way and sends Cardona face-first into the corner. Guido goes for The Kiss of Death, Myers distracts him, Cardona low-blows Guido and plants him with Radio Silence for the 1-2-3!

Winner – Matt Cardona (STILL IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion)

After the match, Cardona and Meyers attack Guido and Mamaluke. The Major Players set up a table but W. Morrissey comes down and looks to slam Myers through the table but Green low-blows Morrissey. Myers goes for BQE on Morrissey but Jordynne Grace comes down and makes the save. Cardona attacks Grace but Grace drops him with a slam. Grace tells Morrissey to slam Cardona through the table, to which he obliges and we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Eddie Edwards is backstage talking about his match with Jonathan Gresham. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett walk in and say in two days, they’ll show the IMPACT universe why they came to the company. Kenny King comes in and says there’s not a single member of Honor No More who doesn’t know how to silence Bullet Club and ponders how they’ll shoot with no bullets left in their chamber. We then head back to the ring where it’s time for our next match.

Shera (with Raj Singh) vs. Gabriel Rodriguez

 Shera chokes Rodriguez right as the bell rings and launches him across the ring. Shera plants Rodriguez with a massive sit-out power-bomb and gets the quick three-count!

Winner – Shera

Bhudpinder Ghujjar is backstage with Gia Miller. Gia asks Bhupinder if he has any regrets not teaming up with Raj, Bhupinder says he has no regrets and he’s here to make his mark in IMPACT Wrestling. Bhupinder exits and we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and IMPACT World Champion Moose is backstage with IMPACT EVP Scott D’Amore. D’Amore tells Moose to issue a public apology for his recent actions or he’ll be stripped of his title. Moose asks D’Amore if he’d actually strip him for something he did not on IMPACT Wrestling grounds and asks for assurance that nothing will happen to him if he issues the apology. D’Amore says Josh Alexander’s wife never got an assurance before Moose did what he did but he’ll be there waiting on Moose’s apology. We then head back to the ring where it’s time for our next matchup.

Bullet Club (Jay White, Chris Bey, Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs. Honor No More (Kenny King, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett & Vincent) (with Eddie Edwards & Maria Kanellis)

 Vincent and Anderson start this one off. A brawl ensues right as the bell sounds, Doc and Bennett are tagged in and continue to brawl. Doc goes for a corner splash, Bennett sends him back with a boot, Doc goes for an elbow but Bennett rolls out and makes the tag to Taven. White makes a blind tag and tosses Taven to the corner chops him in the chest. Taven drop-kicks White and each make a tag to Bey and King, respectively. Bey plants King with an arm-drag and then sends King to the corner where he lands a drop-kick. Taven comes in and goes for a clothesline but Bey evades and King uses the distraction with the King Checker and then a cover but Bey kicks out. Bennett’s tagged in by King and drills Bey with a brain-buster then goes for the cover but Bey kicks out. Vincent makes the self-tag and drills Bey with a number of strikes then a German suplex before going for the cover but Bey lifts the shoulders. Vincent makes the tag to Taven, who slams Bey into the corner and lands a neck-breaker before covering Bey but Bey kicks out. Bey breaks away from Taven and makes the tag to Doc, who clears house. Edwards distracts the referee, Maria distracts Anderson and Taven dives to the outside and takes out Anderson and we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and White plants King with a DDT and nails Vincent with a suplex then goes for the cover but Vincent kicks out. White with a leg-sweep and he and Vincent make tags to Doc and Bennett, respectively. Doc clears house and drills Bennett with a corner splash, Doc makes the tag to Anderson, Good Brothers go for Magic Killer but Taven makes the save, White comes in and lands a suplex on Taven, King takes White out with a driver, Bey drills King with Art of Finesse and dives to the outside to take out Taven and Vincent. Doc tags in and he and Anderson land Magic Killer on Bennett and get the 1-2-3!

Backstage we see Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay of The IInspiration. Cassie and Jessie talk about their IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Title match at Rebellion and say they’ll become two-time champions because they’re the most inspirational and iconic tag team of all-time.

We then see Taya Valkyrie backstage. Taya says she never lost the Reina de Reinas championship and Rebellion, she’ll reclaim her prized possession and become a four-time champion.
