Five WrestleMania matches that had a significant impact

It’s no secret that WrestleMania, which first took place in 1985, is the most anticipated live event of the year for WWE fans everywhere! It’s the longest-running annual professional wrestling event in history, taking place in Las Vegas from the middle of March to the middle of April. This is one of the WWE’s five most important events of the year, along with Money in the Bank and the Big Five. For the sixth year in a row, Forbes has ranked WrestleMania as the world’s sixth most valuable sports brand and compared it to the Super Bowl of sports entertainment and other combat announcements. In honor of the 38th edition of WrestleMania coming to a close, we’ve put up a list of the five greatest matches to ever take place at the event.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns-WrestleMania 38

Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Universal Championship in the WrestleMania 38 Winner-Take-All main events. Most of the action was dominated by the two top heavyweights making strong movements. Despite what appeared to be a serious shoulder injury, Reigns pinned Lesnar after a flurry of spears. After winning the WWE and Universal Championships, Reigns had a difficult time hoisting both, but he looked good while rejoicing on the entrance ramp as the show came to an end on Sunday night’s broadcast. Paul Heyman had a hand in Reigns’ triumph, and he interfered throughout the match.

Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk-WrestleMania 28

As All Elite Wrestling’s two most prominent stars, Chris Jericho and CM Punk nearly stole the show at WrestleMania 28 with their impressive performance. In the midst of a successful WWE championship run, Punk and Jericho had natural chemistry and created a twisted, top-tier match that is more than a little overlooked. Chris Jericho was defeated by a GTS from CM Punk.

Triple H vs. Undertaker-WrestleMania 27

It was Triple H’s turn after Shawn Michaels couldn’t break the streak and chose to take a shot. As a result, WrestleMania 27 featured an action-packed No Holds Barred battle royal that may have been the sole incentive to tune in. This was The Deadman’s sole occasion on which he was taken out of the ring on a stretcher, despite the fact that he won the fight.

Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin-WrestleMania 13

Stone Cold has become a fan favorite across the WWE Universe. Just a bit more Steve Austin and a little less Bret Hart. But it was leading to the Attitude Era, which was eating away at The Hitman. Despite Bret’s efforts, the Rattlesnake was able to submit him at WrestleMania 13. This was one of the first matches of the new Attitude Era. After not reaching out to the sharpshooter, he instead created an iconic image of himself. In a matter of seconds, it became one of the greatest sporting events in history. After a grueling match, Hart was victorious against Stone Cold with a pinfall.

Andre the Giant vs. Hulk Hogan-WrestleMania 3

Even after all these years, it hasn’t faded from the minds of wrestling fans. This could be the most significant match in WWE history. The corporation had a lot at stake. The Pontiac Silver dome was crowded, and the fans were on their feet for this match. Wrestling with these two legends was a blast. But Hulk Hogan won and body-slammed Andre to win the title after Andre body-slammed him again.

Conclusion

This is our personal list of five (5) WrestleMania matches that blew my mind. There are other amazing WrestleMania matches that are great, but these five are exceptional.
