NJPW Working On Visas To Bring American Talent Back Over To Japan

Things are returning to normal in a big way for New Japan Pro Wrestling and its stars.

Fightful has learned after two years since the pandemic started, NJPW has begun to get visas for talent to make their way over to Japan. We’ve learned of several names that New Japan Pro Wrestling has worked on getting visas for to bring them over through the next few months, including Best of the Super Juniors.

Since 2020, travel between the States and Japan hasn’t happened nearly to the level in which the company had hoped. In fact, Fightful had heard of several big names that had hoped to work in Japan that were outright told no during that period, because New Japan simply wasn’t bringing many new names over from the States.

This will serve as a big move for NJPW, which has built up the NJPW Strong brand over the past couple of years after effectively being forced to do an impromptu brand split.
